Thugs rob shs22.4M, 2,000 Rupees from an Indian businessman in Hoima City

Unknown thugs have robbed 22.4 Million Shillings and 2,000 Rupees from an Indian businessman in Kiryateete west zone, a Hoima City suburb.
The victim is Ganatra Kapil 39, a resident of Kiryatete in Hoima East City Division.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says Ganatra left his house at around 7:00pm last evening to go have dinner at a nearby eatery but when he returned, he found that thugs had broken into his home.
Hakiza says the thugs also stole two land titles and other valuables belonging to the Indian.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson says, the hunt for the suspects is on adding that a team of flying squad operatives has been dispatched to the area to pursue the thugs.
Still in Hoima,
Police in Hoima City are hunting for two thugs who have allegedly hacked a 30-year-old man in Kinubi trading centre and also stolen money belonging to a bar operator.
According to police, over the last weekend at around 2am, two thugs armed with big clubs attacked and beat a man identified as Joseph Hosera as he had gone to one of the bars in the area to buy drinking water.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says the thugs also robbed the bar owner Winne Katusabe a sum of shs.300, 000 and a small mobile money phone.
The thugs allegedly held Hosera by the neck as they hit him several times but he was rushed to the hospital for treatment while more inquiries are on.
