80-Year-old man murdered, wife arrested to help police in investigations in Kibaale

Kibaale Police is investigating the circumstances under which a 80 year old man has been murdered in cold blood in Kyakazihire Sub County, Kibaale district.

The deceased is Karega Doviko, a resident of Kacu Village in Kyakazihire Sub County who was on Tuesday morning discovered dead at his home with his head smashed with brunt object by the alleged killer over unknown reasons.

Police has arrested one suspect identified as Kerementina Nabisazi 36, a wife to the deceased in connection the gruesome murder of Doviko.

KDR has independently learnt from area residents that the incident could have been caused by domestic violence as the couple who had lived together for the last two years were always embroiled in domestic fights after getting misunderstandings.    

By press time, detectives from Kibaale police station had already reached the scene to collect the body for postmortem as investigations are ongoing.
