Man spears brother to death in Kibaale

A 30-year-old man has fled into hiding after he allegedly stabbed his biological 28-year-old young brother to death in Rubona village Nyamarunda Sub County, Kibaale district.

Moses Monday 28, was speared by his biological brother Julius Rusiba aged 30 in the wee hours of Sunday morning at around 2am after developing misunderstandings over alcohol in a certain bar owned by their sister.

According to their sister, Nyamaizi Valeriya, the deceased begged to sip alcohol from their elder brother Rusiba (suspect) but he refused to give him.

Moses Monday now deceased forcefully grabbed the glass of alcohol which did not go down well with his brother Rusiba who immediately rushed home and picked a spear that he used to spear his brother in the left limbs leaving him in critical condition.

The deceased was first rushed to St Ambrose Kagadi for medication but he was later referred to Virika Hospital Fort Portal where he was pronounced dead yesterday.

KDRs reporters have established that their late father Joseph Bitamazire was also speared to death 2 years ago by the same children.

Silivano Mukisa the village chairperson notes that he has already informed the police of Nyamarunda and have commenced hunt for the suspect.
