Four faith of unity believers perish in a Nasty Road accident on Kagadi-Kibaale Road

Four believers of the faith of unity have this evening died following a nasty road accident which occurred at Isuunga trading centre junction in Isuunga Sub County, Kagadi district along Kagadi- Kibaale High way.
The horrific accident that has shocked the public involved a fuso truck UBF 967C when the behind bed of the truck filled with believers broke off when the speeding driver failed to negotiate the sharp corner at Isunga trading centre killing two belivers on the spot.
Information trickling in indicates that two more believers died on the way being rushed to Kagadi hospital for treatment.
The believers were destined for Kapyeemi the Faith of Unity headquarters in Muhorro town council, Kagadi district from Kakindo under Bugangaizi Bukwenda in Kakumiro district to mark the 94th Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka’s birthday slated for 11th next Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as one Tumuramye 16 and Twikirize 10 who both from Kakindo in Kakumiro district but particulars of the other two who died enroute to Kagadi hospital were still unknown by press time.
Some of the survivors who spoke to our reporters say that the driver who failed to negotiate the sharp corner has fled into hiding.
Kitone Godfrey, the area LC3 chairperson who rushed to the scene has attributed the accident to the poor mechanical condition of the vehicle and overloading.
