Four Suspected Vehicle Thieves Arrested in Hoima

Police in the Albertine region are holding four suspected vehicle thieves.

The suspects are being detained at Hoima central police station and Kikuube district police station.

Julius Hakiiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says the suspects were arrested from different places within Bunyoro region by the police flying squad following intelligence information.

He notes that the suspects are part of the gang of criminals who have been terrorizing vehicle owners and these allegedly steal premio and wish model cars.

He notes that over 10 vehicles have been in the past two months with eight cases reported in December last year alone.
