Police Rescues Two Suspected Motorcycle Thieves from Mob in Kibaale, Arrested

Police in Nyamarunda Sub County Kibaale district has dispersed a crowd of angry residents of Kibogo central to stop an attempted lynching of two people whom they found with a suspected stolen motorcycle.

It is alleged that, Amos Talemwa 30 a resident of Kibogo central took a stolen motorcycle at the garage of Joseph Mukasa a mechanic to be de-assembled into spare parts.

Leonard Kugonza the area chairperson says the stolen Senko motorcycle was discovered at the garage of Joseph Mukasa but unfortunately the Number plate had already been removed from the jeopardize the tracing of the motorcycle.

Kugonza suspects that Talemwa could have stolen the motorcycle from Fort portal and owners have been tracing for it until today when it was found at the garage.

Kugonza adds that Nyamarunda police swung into action and rescued the suspects from the crown and they are currently detained at Nyamarunda police as they hunt for other accomplices who are at large.
