On Tuesday, 17 December 2024, the LIFE-AR implementation team concluded a one-day training session at Rasmoi Guest House in Pajule town council. The training focused on developing project proposals for the Parish Climate Change Committees (PCCC) in three pilot sub counties within Pader district. This initiative forms part of the Least Developed Countries Initiative for Effective Adaptation and Resilience (LIFE-AR), which aims to promote climate change adaptation in the district.

Ms Winnie Namuyiga, a representative from the Ministry of Water and Environment, assured PCCC members that the actual implementation of the project would commence immediately upon the submission of their proposals. She encouraged members to dispel any doubts or concerns they might have about the project’s progress.

“Once the proposals are submitted, the real work will begin, and we are fully committed to ensuring the success of the project,” said Ms Namuyiga.
