Pupils and teachers of ABC Primary School in Rackoko, Pader District, made a memorable visit to the Parliament of Uganda on Thursday, 11th September 2025.
The delegation, led by the headteacher, Mr. Ojok Robert, was officially recognised during plenary by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among.
The group was introduced as special guests in the public gallery, a moment that marked the highlight of their educational tour.
The pupils were accompanied and represented by their area Members of Parliament, Hon. Komakech Christopher, MP for Aruu County, and Hon. Achiro Pasca Menya, Woman MP for Pader District.
In recognising the young visitors, Speaker Among welcomed them warmly and encouraged them to value their leaders and the legislative processes of the country.
She also pointed to the presence of Hon. Komakech Christopher, appreciating his attentiveness and commitment to parliamentary duties.
The recognition drew visible excitement and smiles from the pupils, who expressed joy at the rare opportunity to witness Parliament in session.
