Pride Bank Pader Branch has launched its annual Customer Service Week, running from October 13th to 17th, under the theme “Mission Possible.”

The week-long celebration aims to recognize clients while showcasing the bank’s range of services that make customers’ financial goals achievable.

Speaking during the launch, Isaac Okello, Branch Operations Manager, said the theme reflects the bank’s commitment to turning customers’ impossible missions into possible outcomes.

“If you have challenges with your capital, we make it possible by giving you loans. If you have transfer problems, we make it possible through services like Western Union. Even if you cannot physically visit the bank, our Pride Mobile Banking allows you to transact easily,” Okello said.

The branch, which serves over 3,000 clients, will use the week to reward and recognize a select number of loyal customers.

Okello also encouraged public feedback, emphasizing that both positive and negative comments are crucial for improving services.

“This week is about engagement, feedback, and customer appreciation. We invite everyone to come, ask questions, and make inquiries,” he added.

For individuals yet to open accounts, Pride Bank requires a National ID, a phone number registered in the applicant’s name, a passport-size photo, and an initial deposit UGX 20,000 normally, but UGX 10,000 for youth during Customer Service Week.

Institutional accounts require additional documents such as a certificate of registration, a group resolution, and an attendance list from the meeting approving account opening.

Pride Bank offers a wide range of services. Savings accounts, including the main Akiba account, allow free deposits and withdrawals.

Children’s accounts are available for minors under 18, operated by a parent or guardian, with a birth certificate and parent’s ID required.

Fixed deposit accounts allow customers to invest amounts ranging from 2 million to 10 million Ugandan Shillings for periods of 3 months to one year, with interest rates increasing based on duration.

The bank also provides money transfer and agency services, including Western Union, MoneyGram, and Greer transfers, as well as support for mobile money agents and agency banking for other banks like Centenary Bank, Diamond Trust Bank, and Equity Bank.

Loan products offered include asset financing loans, salary loans, business loans, clean energy loans, and Boda Boda loans.

Okello explained that through the Boda Boda loan, customers can deposit UGX 500,000, receive the motorcycle from a supplier, and complete payments in installments until ownership of the logbook is transferred.

Residents have praised Pride Bank for its services. Odong Danish Kwoyelo, a farmer from Kiteny East Cell, noted that since starting savings in 2024, he has been able to safely deposit proceeds from his farm sales and plans to open a fixed deposit next year.

“I advise others to put their money in the bank to avoid loss from theft or accidental damage,” he said.

Similarly, Aber Nighty Oyella, a market vendor from Lagwai Zone A, shared that loans received from Pride Bank allowed her to upgrade her business and pay her children’s school fees.
