The warning comes at the time the country is struggling to curb the already illegal vice which has become rampant.

On Thursday last week MPs introduced legislation to parliament that proposes tough new penalties for same-sex relations defying criticism from human rights groups.

Moses Goliath Angolekori, the chairperson parents and teachers association Kotido SS while speaking during the general assembly on Monday observed that a number of students have been victims of such heinous acts across the country.

Angolekori however, warned that they will not entertain such unacceptable behavior in Kotido SS. He further asked the students to pray continuously against the evil practice because overcoming it needs God’s intervention.

Moses Kula, the deputy head teacher of the school while addressing the students at the assembly communicated that the school authorities had resolved to ban curtaining of beds where students enclose their beds with bed sheets.

He said the authorities will only permit the use of mosquito nets as it tries to guard against the vice.
