The beneficiaries of the recently distributed iron sheets in Kapeeta sub county, Kotido district have accused their area LC3 chairperson and the acting sub county chief of allegedly withdrawing some iron sheet from them.

This follows 2 separate cases registered against them for theft at Kotido CPS by Lodia Peter and Loden Robert with SD references 42/20/2/2024 and 45/20/2/2024.

Lodia and Loden allege that, on the 14th of February after they received 26 pieces of iron sheets from the OPM the 2 accused later came to them and withdrew the iron sheets from them over claims that they were the ones that fought for their names to be included into the list of beneficiaries.

Loden says Lokonyen withdrew 5 iron sheets from him while Lodia says Nameja withdrew 10 iron sheets from him.
