Kotido OC prisons transferred and replaced by his deputy

Gerald Kiwanuka the OC Kotido Prisons has been transferred to his new duty station with immediate effect and is being replaced by his deputy Baguma Nicholas.

The development was revealed by Samuel Kanyange the DISO Kotido district while updating the councilors on the security status during the council meeting held last week.

Kiwanuka had served in Kotido district since and now assumes his new duty in Pader district at the capacity of the OC of the newly opened Aswa prisons.

Kanyange, who is also the secretary security committee appealed to the councilors and other stake holders to cooperate closely with Baguma on the issues concerning the establishment of Sokot prison farm since Kiwanuka who was the officer at the fore front has been transferred.
