Kotido CAO, DISO Transferred in Latest Shake-up

Donato Oola Olam, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Kotido District and the District Internal Security Officer (DISO) Lt David Aisu have been transferred in an administrative reshuffle.

The news about their transfer was confirmed by the district speaker Emmanuel Lodio, during the council sitting held at the former court hall on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

He said that according to the transfer letter, the CAO Donato Oola, has been transferred to Omoro District while the DISO Lt. David Aisu has been moved to Kaliro District.

Oola will handover the office and the instruments of power to his successor, Emmanuel Oyuk, who has been the CAO of Amudat district on Friday September, 18 2025, at the district headquarters.

The district leaders extolled the two outgoing officials for their great dedicated service and contribution to Kotido district local government during their tenure, which was tenure marked by successful implementation of various government programs aimed at propelling the district’s development.

Emmanuel Lodio, the district speaker praised the CAO Danato Oola for working hard to lobby for recruitment of civil servants especially health workers, which has boosted staffing level at Kotido General Hospital to 95 percent.

Lt. Aisu also received high praise for his pivotal role in ensuring security and stability within the district, reflecting the importance of both leaders in fostering a conducive environment for growth.

In their maiden speeches Oola and Lt. Aisu commended the district leadership and the community for the good working relationship, urging them to accord their successors the same hospitality for the development of the district.

Meanwhile the Kotido District Resident Commissioner, Charles Ichogor, RDC encouraged both leaders to carry forward their exemplary service to their new duty stations.
