Police of Oyam Central Police Station has summoned the parish chief of Acaba Sub County to respond to allegation of stealing goats that had been impounded from locals of the area.

Last week, the locals accused their Sub County chief, Obangkwon Mark of selling their six goats that had been impounded by the Sub County authority for destroying people’s property.

But Obangkwon by then trashed the allegation of selling the goats as false, adding that more operations will be conducted to impound goats that will be found loitering around the area.

However, effort to speak to Acaba LC3 chairman Owot Amuge to respond to this allegation was futile since his phone was switched off by press time.

Oyam District Police Commander, Innocent Mubangizi confirmed that police has summoned Obangkwon to respond to allegations levied against him.
