Three inmates escape from Alebtong government prison

The Uganda prisons service has launched a hunt for three inmates who escaped from Alebtong Central government Prison.

The Uganda prisons service spokesperson Frank Baine told Voice of Lango FM that a search for the fugitives is ongoing.

He said they will be charged with escape from lawful custody once arrested.

The inmates who escaped from prison include; Opio James who was jailed for rape, Arnold Gerard and one Isaac who were jailed for robbery and house break-in respectively.
