25 year old man stabbed in a struggle for 10,000 shillings

A 25 year old man is nursing injuries he sustained after being stabbed in the stomach by his friend in a struggle for 10,000 shillings.

According to report obtained by Voice of Lango, yesterday at around 07:30PM, Atim Allan a resident of Bung village, Abedmot parish, Inomo town council was involved in a struggle for 10,000 shillings which they had been paid for labor they offered with his friend Abili Brian at a construction site in the area.

In the process of the duo fighting for the money, Brian Abili stabbed Atim Allan with a knife in the stomach before he grabbed an axe that the latter was from sharpening and fled with it in the bush as angry locals tried to pursue him.

A local who pleaded for anonymity confirmed the incident.

Allan Atim who has been admitted at Inomo health center III confirmed the incident.

Ebong Erick, the male youth councilor of Inomo town council condemned the incident and decried rampant cases of people committing crimes with impunity.

By press time, Abili had not yet been arrested.
