Wife brakes husband’s arms, leg over infidelity

A 55 year old man from Oyam district is nursing injuries he sustained as a result of his wife breaking his two arms and a leg over allegation of engaging in extra-marital affair.

The incident occurred in Nebu cell, Western ward, Oyam Town Council.
Richard Ameny the LC1 chairperson of Nebu cell said Okwee Lawrence 55, was assaulted by his wife Polly Adong 47, whom she accused of engaging in a love affair with an unidentified woman.

Ameny adds that Okwee has been admitted at Anyeke health center 4 where he is currently receiving treatment.

He said Okwee requested that his wife should not be arrested since she is the one taking care of him at the hospital.

According to Ameny, this is so far the third time that Adong has assaulted Okwee to the extent of breaking part of his body.
