Locals of Aduku Town Council, Kwania district, have accused the National Water and Sewerage Cooperation (NWSC), Aduku Town Council branch, of supplying contaminated water.

This comes after one Tom Ogwal, a resident of Adyeda Trading Center, Teduka Ward, Aduku Town Council, alleged that he cited worms in the water he was fetching from a tap on 4/5/2024.

Ogwal, who was speaking during a visit to the area by the technical officer of NWSC Aduku branch, to assess the condition of the water said he has been losing lots of money in treating typhoid fever as a result of consuming the purported contaminated water.

Sheila Kyomugisha the manager, National Water, Aduku branch said the matter reached her desk and they have collected samples of the water for screening.
