Acaba LC3 Chairman cautioned his civil servants against absenteeism

Charlce Owot, the LC3 Chairman of Acaba Sub County in Oyam district has cautioned civil servants in his area against the habit of absenteeism which greatly affects services delivery and cripple’s government programs.

Owot was speaking last week during the sub county council meeting for laying the draft budget.

He further revealed that the leadership of the sub county will not hesitate to take action against the errant officers since they are paid money and must deliver as per their assignment requires.

Owot also tasked the sub county chief to address low revenue collection in the sub county which has affected council performance.

Mark Obangkwon, the Acaba Sub County Chief, for example, says he has cautioned Obanga-ngeo parish chief, Charles Ocen, who allegedly disappeared from his work station and switched off his phone number for unclear reasons.

He also blamed no steady progress on revenue collection in the sub county to inexperience of the sub county revenue officer.
