Diocese of West Lango has passed out 63 catechists who completed their studies

During this event held at St Peter’s Anyeke Urban Archdeaconry in Oyam Town Council servants of God at various levels, civil servants and Cultural leaders graced the occasion.
After anointing these servants of God Julius Caesar Nina Otim the Bishop of West Lango Diocese advises these catechists to correctly follow what they have learnt during their studies however he also advises Christians to be vigilant about fall prophets.

Meanwhile Rev Robert Edinga the Diocesan Secretary of West Lango Diocese in his teaching to these servants of God and Christians rallied these catechists to stay a wake while working harder to build more believers for eternity.

Benson Walter Dila Oyuku the chairman Christian Laity of West Lango Diocese who also double as LC5 chairperson of Oyam District however cautioned Christians against undermining servants of God saying they should instate work harder for the welfare these servants

William Komakech the Resident District Commissioner of Oyam District in his remark implore these anointed servants of God to work harder to preach against divorce especially among youths to protect their marriages adding that there is high rate of abortion in Oyam district that needs collective responsibility to address this vise.

Speaking to our reporter one of the anointed catechists expressed her excitement over this development saying she will work harder to achieve what she has learnt.
