Oyam District transferred 22 headteachers and 23 deputies

Adressing press at his office David Adea the Senior Education Assistant of Oyam District says out of 109 primary head teachers in Oyam they transferred 22 headteachers and 23 deputies over distinctive circumstances. 

In his conclusion Adea explained that some headteachers were transferred because they want them to go and transform poor performing schools while others had overstayed in one school for more than 5 years.

Joseph Ongwec the former headteacher of Dogapio primary school in Acaba Sub County who is transferred to Onekgwok primary in Ngai Sub-county welcomed his transfer calling upon parents of Onekgwok Primary School to coordinate with him in uplifting the standard of education in Onekgwok.

Benson Ongom one of the District inspector of school in Oyam in his remark said Oyam district set for the 2024 term one school reopening where explained that they will start the school next week in a very high gear with serious supervisions for effective teaching and learning.

According to a report Oyam has 109 government headed schools spread across the entire district.
