Strategically positioned at the hub of Lira City, the station has the coverage of over 140kms radius with an estimated over 6.5 million listeners drawn from the districts of Lira City, Otuke, Alebtong, Amolatar, Apac, Kwania, Dokolo, Oyam, Omoro, Gulu City, Pader, Kitgum, Abim, Masindi, Nakasongola, Kaberamaido, Soroti, Amuria and some parts of Karamoja Sub-region.

Over the years, Voice of Lango Fm has been voted and ranked number one radio in Northern Uganda as per the 2012, 2013, 2014 IPSOS Reports.

Voice of Lango fm’s strategic goal and resolve is to address social issues which includes but not limited to; Health, Education, Gender and Poverty alleviation and thus leverages on this to the best radio station in the sensitization and promotion campaigns for our population.

The Station is intended to give our advertisers approximately 33% of the frequency Modulation national Coverage 24 hours.

The radio is regulated by Uganda Communications Communication and is also monitored by the Country’s top advertising agencies such as IPSOS the reason why we are the preferred choice for the leading brands and giant companies for advertising and promotions.

VOL is a member to many umbrella media associations like National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Lango Media Owners and Managers Association amongst others.
