Police Launches Man hunt for 4 people over Killing Family Head in Kibaale

Four family members Hamugamba village in Karama Sub County Kibaale district have fled into hiding after allegedly killing the family head identified as Francis Bwabake Senkima aged 40 in a domestic brawl.

They are Nakanwagi Tereza the deceased’s wife and their children Nicholas Ategeka, Teddy and Angelica all in their 20s years of age.

Specioza Kiiza and Agnes Kyakuha the sisters to Nakanwagi (suspect) who were found at the scene on Monday say that they learnt about the tragedy early morning stressing that the family fight occurred last night reportedly over witchcraft misunderstandings.

The jolly speaking sisters narrate that the suspects acted in self-defense since the deceased was armed with a hoe that he wanted to use to kill them but they over powered him.

George Muhogota, the LC3 Chairperson Karama Sub County who rushed to the scene has condemned the act which he attributes to persistent domestic violence in the family.

Locals described the deceased as a difficult family head who has always been cruel.

By press time, detectives from Kibaale Central Police Station led by the district Assistant CID Benjamin Olishaba reached the scene and conveyed the body to Kibaale Health Center IV for postmortem as investigations continue.
