Lamwo Woman MP donates medical equipment to the district

The Lamwo woman member of Parliament through the ministry of Health has donated and handed over hospital equipment to Lamwo district local Government

Hon Achora Nancy Odonga said on Thursday that she lobbied the equipment; which include 30 hospital beds, mattress, Oxi pulse meter, oxygen cylinder, oxygen stands, and blankets from the ministry of Health

The medical supplies are to be distributed to Madi Opei HCIV, Padibe HCIV, Cubu Community Health Center II, Agoro HCIII and Pangira HCIII Palabek kal HCIII and Katum HCIII.

Hon Achora said the equipment is to boost health services in the facilities so that pregnant mothers do not to deliver on the floor

She also appealed to health workers to improve the working relationship with the communities where they work.

Dr Michael Ocula, the Lamwo District Health Officer, commended the MP for the donation and pledged to commitment in delivering quality health services to the populace in in Lamwo District

Mr Benjamin Emuge the Lamwo district Internal Security Officer pledged to work closely with district health Team making sure the equipment are not mismanaged. He called for cooperation among the health facilities in the district so that challenges experience are addressed amicably.
