Nairobi,Kenya:Tekwaro Lango meets Ambassadors,Routes for development

A two days meeting of Tekwaro Lango and ambassadors who hail from within and without the great land of Lango is underway in Nairobi,Kenya. The meeting that commenced this morning ends on Friday.

The Prime Minister of Tekwaro Lango George Ojwang Opota confirmed this development to Radio Qfm in an interview at Tekaro Lango offices on Tuesday. Tekwaro Lango is head by Wonyaci, his Highness Dr. Eng. Moses Michael Odongo Okune.

The premier noted that the meeting with Lango ambassadors in the diaspora is intended to raised funds to allow Tekwaro Lango to achieve its vision and work plan aimed at enhancing development in Lango in line with poverty alleviation, strengthening Education and Health systems and revamping tree planting to curb Climate change.

According to him, Tekwaro Lango has several Planned Projects to be undertaken but the institution has been lacking funds.The delegation from Tekwaro Lango will also meet other cultural leaders in Kenya for strategic partnerships.

On the other hand, Edwin Odur Luru the deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, under Tekwaro Lango said this is the right time Lango needs to unite together and fight for one Goal of development.

Odur says Lango should shun leadership wrangles which may derail them from sourcing for development.

Patrick Okullu Okeng, the Minister of information in Tekwaro Lango meanwhile appealed to the people who have Lango at heart to come together for progressive growth and development of Lango.
