Namasale technical school Shines in UBTEB exams after 40 years

Established at the Lake shores of Lake Kyoga, Namasale Technical school, one of the oldest institutions in the country is placed at the center of Uganda in the present day Amolatar district.

But for over 4 decades, the institute has registered average needless to say unconvincing results in the national examinations.

Finally, Namasale has excelled in the 2022 Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board Examinations. Out of the 182 that sat this national examinations ,172 passed with flying colors and only 10 failed.

Mose Ogwal, formerly at Dokolo technical school in Dokolo district that used to be the best in the country is now the new head teacher of Namasale and all these success has been attributed to his efforts.

Speaking to Radio Qfm, Mr Ogwal said he was impressed with the results an attributed it to team work and support from the school’s board of governors.

Godfrey Ayena, the chairperson of Namasale town council also lauded the technical school for bouncing to great heights and urged parents not to despise technical education because it is a quick solution to youth unemployment.
