In a recent government reshuffle on August 15, 2024, President Yoweri Museveni retained several key officials, including Pader’s Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Milton Odongo and his deputy, Saire Micheal.

The reshuffle, conducted under the constitutional powers of Articles 99 and 203, emphasises continuity in district leadership, reflecting the President’s confidence in their roles.

In Agago District, RDC Kidega Nabinson James and Deputy RDC Akot Susan Moro were also retained. Speaking to RAPA FM, Mr. Odongo expressed his excitement over the reappointment, stating, “I am thrilled to continue serving the people of Pader. My team and I remain committed to fulfilling the NRM government’s manifesto and contributing to Uganda’s development.”

Similarly, in Kitgum, RDC Ssegawa Nehemiah Jimmy Ebil and Deputy RDC Walire Marijan were retained, signaling stability in the district’s administration.

However, Lamwo District witnessed a change in leadership with the appointment of Komakech William as the new RDC, replacing Oceng Geoffrey Osborn, who was transferred to Nwoya District.
