Northern Uganda goes green: Lystra Foundation Uganda launches tree seedling drive 2026

On Friday, 3rd April 2026, Lystra Foundation Uganda, under the banner “Nature for Humanity,” appeared on Rapa FM (88.3 FM) from 7:30–8:00 PM, urging the public to join hands in tree planting efforts across Northern Uganda.

As part of its Youth Climate Action and Tree Planting Initiative, the foundation has launched the Tree Seedling Application Form 2026, inviting farmers and community members to apply for tree seedlings. Available varieties include fruit trees, shade trees, and timber trees, aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and community development.

Applicants are encouraged to complete the form, providing their personal details, location, preferred seedling type, and quantity required.
