Contractor praised for swift developments at construction of seed schools in Kamwenge

Leaders in Kamwenge district have commended the ongoing construction works at Ntonwa seed secondary school and Bishozi seed secondary school in Kibale East county.

The two projects contracted by TAMSAK DEV’T LINK at a cost of over Ugx 6bilion, are expected to be completed by the early next year.

During a Joint inspection by Kamwenge District leaders and officials from the Ministry of Education and sports on Monday June 29, 2026, the contractor was praised for a promising work on both sites: at Bishozi seed s.s and Ntonwa seed s.s in Nkoma sub country and Ntonwa sub country respectively.

A team of officials included the district vice chairperson Mrs Hariet Mujuni, district secretary for works Mr Muhwezi Yonani, Kamwenge district recident commissioner Mr Africano Aharikundira, the District CAO and engineers from the ministry of Education and Sports.

They however asked the contractor to keep the developments on pase so as to complete the work within the period agreed.

Abraham Tugume from TAMSAK DEV’T LINK noted that the work is at 35 percentage on both sites; Bisozi and Ntonwa, adding that they hope to complete the projects in time.

However, Engineer Abraham said that they are facing the challenges especially water shortage, much as they have tried their best to get it.
