Radio Apac, BVR design studio and Northern Uganda Resilience Innovation Network (NURIN) team up to train young entrepreneurs on business skills inorder to find opportunities for their sustainable livelihoods.

The training which was categorized by a number of topics ranging from a perception of a cottage business, skills in growing a business, professionalizing a business entity among others ended late last week on 6th Oct 2023.

The training which was geared towards Radio Apac’s ADACARA cultural and innovative Fest 2023 served as a melting pot of ideas, providing a platform for collaboration, learning, and celebration in order to ignite the sparks of innovation among young entrepreneurs in Apac and northern Uganda as a whole.

Mr. Brian Ndyagume the team leader of the trainers says this particular training was to inspire creativity and innovation by bringing together artists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and technology enthusiasts in one collaborative space.

Mr. Ndyagume however said this kind of training will see entrepreneurs gleam in most of their commercial entities since they tally a lot as far as businesses are concerned.

Ms. Kia Sandra one of the trainees commended so much the aspect of book keeping that she was able to seize as her take home for the business she currently operates.

She says her business has since been operating without proper book keeping that has always landed her to unplanned expenses which has always crippled her business growth

Mr. Jimmy Okello the Executive director NURIN says their partnership in bringing together entrepreneurs in Apac and Lango to the current business trend has been the first of its kind and they still hope to engage more business practitioners for a justifiable livelihood.
