The Hon. Cecilia Atim Ogwal Foundation has continued its support for grassroots sports development by donating additional sports kits to Adok Women Football Club in Adok Subcounty, Dokolo District. The donation was officially handed over on Sunday, 10 May 2026, at Adok Primary School playground by Mark Olade, a representative of the Foundation.

Club leaders and players received two new footballs and 11 sports shorts to strengthen the team’s preparations and training activities.

This latest support follows an earlier Kit Aid donation delivered by the Foundation last month, where Adok Women FC received 90 pieces of sports kits aimed at improving the welfare and performance of the players.

Speaking during the handover, Team Coach Allan Opungu and Team Captain Jennifer Akello expressed gratitude to the Foundation for its continued commitment to empowering young women through sports.

They noted that the support has greatly boosted the team’s morale and capacity to compete effectively. With the new uniforms and equipment, Adok Women FC is now preparing for a highly anticipated friendly match against Owanadilo Women FC of Alito Town Council a thrilling encounter expected to bring together two district champions in an exciting showcase of women’s football talent.

The Foundation’s sports outreach has also benefited other teams in the region. Recently, 64 pieces of sports uniforms were donated to Agoga United FC in Kwera Subcounty, Dokolo District, while Owanadilo Women FC received 37 sports kits in Kole District. In addition, another Kit Aid donation comprising 33 sports kit items is expected to be handed over soon to beneficiaries in Lira City.

The continued support from the Hon. Cecilia Atim Ogwal Foundation is playing a vital role in promoting grassroots football and empowering young athletes, especially women, across Northern Uganda. Through these donations, local teams are gaining not only sports equipment but also confidence, motivation, and hope for a brighter future in sports.
