Lango Province camp empty as none of the 33 players surface.

Lango Province training camp still remains empty as the 33 summoned players are yet to arrive.

Speaking with Unity FM, Lango Province manager Ivan Opeto said he has sent official letters to all football clubs where the summoned players play, and they are currently waiting for their release and arrival.

Opeto expressed hope that the players will start arriving in camp tomorrow, even though very little time is left for preparations ahead of Saturday’s match against Bunyoro Province.

Meanwhile, speaking to Unity FM, Dokolo District spokesperson Musafiri Suwed, popularly known as Blick de Bomblast, said they are working together with Lango Province officials to ensure that the football pitch at Dokolo Technical College is fully ready before Saturday.

Suwed noted that FUFA officials will visit Dokolo District tomorrow, Wednesday, to inspect whether Lango Province leaders have put all the required facilities in place at the Dokolo Technical pitch to host the FUFA Drum match.

Lango Province Fans Chairman Rose Labongo stated that they are preparing the Dokolo Technical College pitch, which can accommodate up to 20,000 fans.

He added that on Saturday, all fans will participate in the National Cleaning exercise before travelling to watch the match in Dokolo District.

Lango Province will clash with Bunyoro Province this coming Saturday in the first leg of the semi-finals, while Acholi Province will take on Buganda on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
