92.4 Luo FM hit the airwaves on 2nd July 2008. It broadcasts on the frequency 92.4FM and is fully owned by 92.4 LUO FM LIMITED. The station was established to provide information for development.
92.4 Luo FM is strategically located in Pader town on plot 14-16 Obol-Akal Road. This location is at the heart of Pader District enabling easy access by the listeners and the clients.
The station is powered by a 3KW transmitter enabling the signal covers a radius of over 150km around Pader, Agago, Kitgum, Lamwo, Amuru, Nwoya, Gulu, Omoro, Lira, Alebtong, Otuke, Dokolo, Oyam, Kole, Apac, Abim, Kotido, Kaabong, Moroto, Katakwi, Amuria, Kapyelebyong, Kaberamaido, Kiryandongo Districts plus parts of Eastern Equatoria-Southern Sudan all get good signal of 92.4 Luo FM.
There is a back-up 1KW transmitter and constant source of power for broadcast from two (2) separate generators situated at the station.
