Presidential Skilling hub youth in Lango are encouraged to Drive Economic Change

Assistant Resident District Commissioner of Oyam yesterday 26th January ,2025 addressing alumni of the Presidential Skilling Hub in Lango Subregion during a briefing held in Oyam.

In his remarks Patrick ocean ,Assistant Resident District Comissioner oyam encourages this youth to demonstrate that they were able to get the skills from the HUB to proven that the six months granted to them was not for granted, and they should be able to let them know if really helpful to them.

In addition, they encourage them to remain committed in this kind of support because there are a number of people that did not get this opportunity.

Alex Enon , the oyam district senior commercial officer in his remarks encouraged the alumni to become agents of change in their communities by inspiring the youth to join the money economy and embrace job creation rather than job seeking.

He emphasized the importance of SACCOs in promoting self-reliance and economic growth.

Edimond Ndyaremwaki, who is a national coordinator for presidential industrial hub , said that His Excellency, the President, wants to see these youth utilizing those skills to create jobs for themselves,to produce goods, to substitute the imports of those things that have been imported.

However, he says their coming to oyam is to follow them up under presidential instruction that they gather them and assess whether they have started work.
