Lack of office space at Loro S/C affecting service delivery

Lack of enough office space at Loro Sub county Oyam district is now affecting service delivery in Loro Sub county Oyam district, the challenges came after Loro Sub county relocates to their new site in Alidi Parish leaving their former headquarters for Loro Town Council that was curved from Loro sub county in 2021.
Patrick Okunu the Chairperson LC lll Loro Sub county Oyam district says currently they are operating in a small building constructed by an NGO for their office in 2007 at Alidi Parish an is too small can’t accommodate all the offices for the Sub county.
At the moment only LC lll Chairperson and Senior ssistant Secretary SAS and Community Development Officer CDO are having their offices.But others like Agriculture Extension workers, Gombola Internal Security Officer GISO among others are lacking office space the are operating under the verandah and tree shades.
More than 10 office space are required. Okunu added.
Loro Sub county is among the sub counties in Oyam District where creations of new Town Council affect them, but they have already aquire their land of three acers for the construction of their administration office in Alidi Parish at the cost of 26 million shilling.
Loro sub county have Six Parishes of Alidi, Alutkot, Adigo, Agulurude, Acanpii, and Atondara parish.
