Oyam district leaders challenge National Planning Authority

Hon. Benson Dilla Oyuku the District LC,5 Chairperson in his remark, He clearly said as large district Oyam needs more from the National Planning Authority interm ot it’s population and capacity on basic services like roads networks, health facilities and other direct services mentioning Parish Development Modle (PDM), Emyooga and Youth Livelihood.
Conclusively, Dilla openly said the National Development Authority should practice equity in their planning process giving a true evidence of Lango Sub region having only one General Hospital compared to Other sub regions like Acholi having four General Hospitals.

Mr. Benedict Agunsi the Senior Planner of Oyam district in his capacity said at many occasions planners have been figure pointed for poor planning but he declared that planners are always right on their works and problem comes in implementation by the technical persons like engineers.
As a local Planner Benedict cried over the number of members Parliament that is over draining the government fund .
Chris Nokrac the representative of National Development Authority said the consultation is majorly meant to polish the draft NDP IV set to drive the Nation till 2040 and to archive the dream Uganda 2040 through Industrialization, Urbanization, Technological Advancement and many other key that gears development.
