1.2 billion shs Vocational School construction in Oyam nearly completed.

Ignite Change Vocational school is being built in Barolimo B village in Kamdini Sub County Oyam District along Gulu Kampala Highway with the financial support from Ignite Change which is one of the US base Organisation.
Emily Johns the Chief Execultive Director of Ignite Change explained that they are constructing this school following the public outcry about lack of Vocational schools in northern uganda.
Daniel Otim the Site Engineeer of Shalak Engineering Uganda limited said this construction is currently at 60% where assured the public that by 18th to 20th of feb they shall have finis this work.
Sharah Okunyu Tonny one of the locals who live in Barolimo village excitedly welcomed this development saying she is ready to go back to school if 2024 term one 2024 begins hwerver she appealed that initial payment for school fees should be affordable to locals.
Walter Okabo another local from the same locality equally welcomed this development saying the construction of this school in that area has even created job opportunities for some of them where is he testified that he is also beneficiaries working as a helper at that site.
According to a report construction of Ignite Change Vocational school will fully be completed in 2028 with over 30 buildings.
