The Lango Parliamentary Group has expressed profound sorrow over the heartbreaking loss of pupils from King David Junior School, whose lives were tragically cut short in the recent accident in Kapchorwa.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Lango Parliamentary Group, Hon. Patrick Ogwang Obura, Member of Parliament for Oyam South Constituency, the group extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends, teachers, and the entire school community during this incredibly difficult time. Hon. Obura emphasized that no words can truly ease the pain of losing such young and promising lives, but assured the public that the Lango Parliamentary Group stands in solidarity with everyone affected by this tragedy.
Hon. Obura further prayed for the souls of the departed to rest in eternal peace and called upon God to grant comfort, strength, and healing to all who are grieving. He also extended prayers for the swift recovery of those who were injured in the accident, stressing that the nation must unite in compassion and support for the victims and their families. The Chairman’s message highlighted the importance of community solidarity in times of sorrow, noting that the Lango Parliamentary Group remains committed to standing with the people during moments of grief and loss.
His leadership in conveying this message of unity and compassion reflects the group’s dedication to the welfare of Ugandans, especially in times of tragedy.
