On Sunday, the Member of Parliament for Oyam North Constituency, Dr. Eunice Apio Otuko, extended her support to the Christian community by donating 70 pre-painted iron sheets to Yahweh Pentecostal Mission in Lela Apala, Aleka Sub-County.

The donation was delivered on her behalf by Oyam District Chairman Nelson Adea Akar, who represented the legislator at the event.

Speaking during the handover, Chairman Adea emphasized that the contribution was part of Dr. Apio’s campaign pledge to strengthen faith-based institutions and improve community infrastructure. He urged church members to put the iron sheets into immediate use, noting that the donation was intended to directly benefit the congregation and accelerate the construction of the church building.

Rev. Santos Ongom of Yahweh Pentecostal Assembly Agom expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support, pledging that the church leadership would utilize the iron sheets effectively to advance the ongoing construction project. He described the donation as a timely intervention that would ease the burden on the faithful and help them realize their long-cherished dream of completing the worship center.

Christian members also voiced their appreciation. Geoffrey Okullu commended Dr. Apio’s generosity, describing her as a dependable leader who fulfills her promises to the people of Oyam. Tonny Isaac Ojok congratulated the legislator for consistently honoring her commitments, urging those awaiting pledges to remain patient, with assurance that she would deliver on her word.
