Poska Charity Foundation Uganda (PCFU), founded by Queen Poska Akello, Miss Africulture Northern Uganda 2026/27 and former Miss Lango contestant, has announced that its 2026 School Outreach Program will focus on rural communities in Northern Uganda, beginning with the Lango Sub-Region.

The first outreach is scheduled for November 16th, 2026, at Kamdini Primary School in Oyam District. The school was selected due to the alarming rate of dropouts and early pregnancies among young girls, a challenge that continues to threaten their future and calls for urgent mentorship and support.

Speaking about the initiative, Queen Poska emphasized that the outreach, under the theme “Empowering the Learners & Inspiring Hope”, is designed to reach rural schools where learners are often left behind. The program will provide mentorship, girl empowerment sessions, encouragement, and essential school supplies, with a strong message to learners that “You are seen. You are valued. You can achieve.”

Operating under the motto “Leaving No One Behind”, Poska Charity Foundation Uganda is committed to serving Persons with Disabilities, People Living with Sickle Cell Disease, People with Mental Health Conditions, Women with Obstetric Fistula, War Survivors, and other vulnerable and marginalized groups. School mentorship and girl empowerment remain a key pillar of its work.

The foundation believes that every individual, regardless of background or condition, has dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Queen Poska is now appealing to well-wishers, partners, and people of goodwill to support the rural outreach through financial contributions, school supplies, donations, volunteer time, and prayers.
