NRM to use political science in solving Ugandan’s problems Museveni said

President Museveni asserted that NRM’s involvement in leadership is because of the medicine they have for people’s issues.
He made the revelation on Tuesday while canvassing support for the party flag bearer in the Dokolo Woman MP by-election, Janet Adongo Alau during a rally held at Atabu Primary School in Bata Sub County in Dokolo North.
Addressing a second campaign rally held at Amatiburu primary school in Kangai Sub County in Dokolo South constituency, President Museveni reiterated that the NRM government has got a package of solutions for Uganda’s problems such as Parish Development Model fund of 100million per parish.
In her brief remarks, Janet Adongo Elau, pledged to the electorate to continue following what president has been pledging to the people of Dokolo district.
Meanwhile, Anna Grace Lalam, NRM leaning independent aspirant has withdrawn from the race.
Aspirants left in the race are Rosemary Alwoc Ogwal from Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Janet Rose Adongo Elau from National Resistance Movement (NRM), Sarah Aguti from Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) and Harriet Ageno of National unity platform(NUP).
Others are Esther Akullo Obot and Rebecca Arao all are independent candidates.
The Electoral Commission had scheduled voting for March 21st, 2024, for Dokolo Woman Member of Parliament after the seat felt vacant following the death of the former MP Cecilia Atim Ogwal who died of cancer-related illness on January 18th at a hospital in India.
