Father Mathew Lagoro , has asked farmers to grow more cassava

Father Mathew Okun Lagoro , the coordinator of Cassava and Commercialization project initiated by Bishop of Gulu Archdiocese, Rev John Baptist Odama asked farmers to grow more Cassava because investors are interested in them

Okun Lagoro while on Tuesday speaking to Christians at Te-boke catholic parish , Lira Diocese requested the community in Northern Uganda to fully embrace the project so as to supply the four Cassava industries that government plans to establish in LANGO ,Gulu, Acholi Bur and West Nile

Jimmy Anthony Oyuku ,the Speaker of Lango Cultural Foundation welcomed the project saying what is remaining is continuous massive mobilization to invite more people to come and embrace the project

Fr Carlos Oguka , Te-boke Catholic parish priest also encouraged Cassava production to get out of ppoverty and hunger in from their families
