Mpigi District Environment and Natural Resources Committee Conducts Monitoring of Government Projects

Peter Kawuki, together with members of the District Environment and Natural Resources Committee, including the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. George Kwizera, and the Assistant Resident District Commissioner, Mr. Saad Mwanje, conducted a monitoring visit to government-funded projects.

Construction work of the district perimeter being inspected by district officials

The team inspected the ongoing construction of the perimeter fence and access ramp at the Mpigi District Headquarters to assess compliance with environmental protection measures and occupational health and safety standards. The monitoring exercise aimed to ensure that the projects are being implemented in accordance with the required environmental and safety regulations.
