Ms. Rehema Aryema, the camp`s chairperson told this radio yesterday (10th November 2022) that her camp community seems to have run out of patience after the plans to settle them permanently have not materialized as expected.

She said her electorates encamped in Muhokya camp were finalizing plans aimed at making bricks to enable putting up permanent structures that would guarantee their stay in Muhokya.

Ms. Rehema later asked legislators from Kasese for a possibility of renting for them a piece of land to cultivate crops for food security than keeping begging.

The Kasese District chairperson, Mr. Erifaz Muhindo recently announced that government was in her final stages of procuring a piece of land aimed at resettling permanently the people internally encamped in Muhokya town council.
