No police comment yet but sources say the leaders were arrested after joining hundreds of community members holding placards in Bulembia Division expressing their dissatisfaction over the transfer of medical supplies from Kilembe Mines Hospital.

Hon. Teddy Kasambangene Kyakimwa, the woman councilor representing Namuhuga and Nyakabingo three wards, an eye witness confirmed the arrest of the political leaders without divulging details.

Mr. Johnson Mutungwanda, the Chairperson Board of Governors Kilembe Mines Hospital, said although police has foiled the demonstration, residents were not happy about government decision.

Ms. Jane Rose Kabasongora, the acting administrator Kilembe Mines Hospital, said they will continue offering service despite heavy deployment.
