NRM fetches big from FDC in Kasese

FDC in Kasese district remains in suspense after some members leaves to NRM.

A total of 125 supporters of the Forum for Democratic Change–FDC party in Karambi sub-county Kasese District have surrendered their cards and crossed over to the National Resistance Movement-NRM.

The converts were received on Sunday at Bethsaida Church of Uganda in Kyasenda village by the sub-county NRM chairperson, Mr. William Mwananamwolho who later handed them to the Minister of state for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabyanga.

Ms.Renestina Masika, the information secretary and Mbonesa Munzombo said that they wholeheartedly crossed to NRM having served FDC party for long, but recording no gains.

Others testified that the ongoing government programs including the parish development model and UWEP is the key turning point as to why they have crossed over to NRM party.
