Breaking News: Rwenzururu King released

The Director of Public Prosecution has dropped all criminal charges against the Rwenzururu King His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere and more than 200 others.

The accused have been facing charges ranging from murder, attempted murder, treason and aggravated robbery that culminated into the attack by security on the Obuhikira palace in Kasese in 216.

Rt. Hon. Johnson Kule Muranga, the Kingdom Prime Minister who was at the Crimes Division of the High Court in Kampala this morning, confirmed the development saying only two of the accused persons would keep on court bail.

Rt. Hon. Muranga who did give any much details for being busy with legal processes at court, appreciated government, the Kingdom legal and dialogue team for their wisdom into the matter. Details will come your way in our subsequent bulletins. END
