New Centenary Bank building in Kasese, officially opens operations

Newly built multi-billion Centenary Bank branch in Kasese Municipality has officially opened operations.

There was excitement at Centenary Bank in Kasese as the branch opened operations in her multi-billion structure that was recently built and handed over to them by the Diocese of Kasese.

Mr. Lawrence Musalirwa, a local resident of Kinyateke village in Kahokya Sub County at the branch hailed Bishop Kibira, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese for the new magnificent beautiful building that has given a new face of Kasese Municipality.

Mr. Eric Masereka and Mr. Zepher Kighina Mbusa, the first customers to withdraw Money were speechless as they witnessed the new technology guided building that will need new lessons to enter by most customers of the bank.

Addressing the media shortly after presiding over official entrance function to the building, the Regional bank manager for Western, Mr. Benon Benedict Muhabuzi said the construction of the new premises was aimed at acquiring enough space for customers and improve services to the clients.

Mr. Muhabuzi who commended the Kasese people for their support, encouraged customers to freely come to the branch because Centenary bank is their bank.

The Vice Chairperson Boda-boda centenary stage Mr. Yonah Mumbere told our reporter that they have also officially shifted their stage from the old site to the new site to ably and timely serve their customers.

Earlier, Mr. Muhabuzi said the loan section had been located upstairs for better services.
