Kasese Senior Education officer: Science subjects are also for girls

Mrs. Kruthum Moshi Masika, the Kasese district Senior Education officer has argued learners against a misconception that science subjects in schools are meant for males.

Ms Kruthum who was addressing education stakeholders at the belated International Women’s day celebrations held at Mughende cell offices in Kisinga town council in Kasese district yesterday, asked the locals against what she called diversionary perceptions about science subjects he said were general for every learner to offer.

She also asked parents and guardians against poor cultural beliefs that cleave the girl child only to domestic assignments than having them in school. Mrs. Kruthum speaking1…….
