Unwavering support across Oyam’s Sub counties

From Acaba to Kamdini, Minakulu Town Council to Myene, Iceme, Abok, Oyam Town Council, and Ngai, the 2025 campaign trail has revealed one clear truth: Hon. Santa Alum Ogwang is not just a politician but a builder of communities. Everywhere she campaigns, she is met with overwhelming support—a reflection of her accountability, compassion, and tangible development record.

In Iceme Subcounty, Alum pledged to secure government development of the Teokic Shrine, which is already on the waiting list for budget approval. She has actively lobbied for the upgrading of health centres, the tarmacking of the Korner Molem road, the rehabilitation of community roads, and the provision of mama kits for expectant mothers. Local leaders have praised her for serving all people without discrimination.

In Myene and Abok, she oversaw the rehabilitation of roads worth millions, boosting trade and transport. Leaders and residents alike commended her for 15 years of continuous service, describing her as a dedicated developer who works for progress without favouritism.

Across Oyam District, Alum has transformed the health sector by lobbying for the upgrade of Anyeke Health Centre IV into a General Hospital, procuring ambulances to serve all communities, organising dental health camps, and distributing mama kits to reduce maternal risks. She has also extended electricity to Oyam, with more projects underway to support businesses, schools, and government facilities.

Her compassion has been evident in her presence during both joyous and sorrowful moments. She consistently stands with families during burials, strengthening her bond with the electorate and reinforcing her role as a leader who shares in the lives of her people.

In Oyam Town Council and Kamdini, Alum pledged the completion of community toilets in Yamiyon and continued road improvements. Leaders described her as a Member of Parliament for all political parties, urging residents to support her for her transparency. In Kamdini, Minakulu, and Ngai, residents echoed similar sentiments, citing her fairness and support for churches, VSLA groups, and youth initiatives.

Residents across the district have expressed confidence in her leadership, highlighting her accountability, transparency, and ability to deliver on promises. Her work speaks for itself, and her campaign has reignited hope for continued development in Oyam.

What sets Alum Santa Ogwang apart is not only her ability to lobby for projects but her unwavering presence in the lives of her people. She has transformed Oyam with electricity, hospitals, roads, and community programmes, while standing shoulder to shoulder with families in times of grief. Her campaign across all sub counties demonstrates a simple truth: development speaks louder than words, and compassion binds leaders to their people.

Hon. Santa Alum Ogwang’s uniqueness lies in her blend of accountability, transparency, and humanity—qualities that continue to earn her unwavering support across Oyam District.
